Music/sound for our film

For our opening sequence, Maddie Chloe and I have now decided on what music/sound we are going to use. For the first part of our opening sequence, we have recorded a radio station commentary. We did this so it could be playing throughout the 15 seconds of the two main characters driving down the road. This will then make the audience feel involved by them listening to what the two main characters can hear in the car. And then for the next part of the scene we have no diegetic sound, but we are going to have some non-diegetic sound. We want this sound to make the audience feel like something is going to happen, to build a bit of tension and to make things look and feel suspicious. We looked on some suggested copyright free sites but we didn't find anything that matched what we wanted. So at home my dad has a music programme on his laptop that plays around with different sounds and effects, and he kindly helped us in producing a non-diegetic, creepy sound. It's a simple sound but it conforms to the atmosphere that we want to create. And then in the last part of our opening sequence, we have the diegetic sound of the tv and of the two main characters watching it.
